The first fair this month will be held in Kobrin district, it is scheduled for tomorrow, August 8th. In Pinsk, it will be possible to pick up a job online on August 15. Similar events will be organized on August 17 in Baranovichi, Berezovsky, Zhabinkovsky, Ivanovsky, Ivatsevichy and Pruzhany districts. An electronic job fair will be held in the Kamenets region on August 22, in the Luninets region on August 24, and in the Brest region on August 25.

In autumn, there is a revival in the labor market, in connection with this, cities and regions have stepped up work to assist in the employment of citizens. In particular, an intersectoral job fair was organized in Brest in early August. The event was attended by 66 employers of state and private forms of ownership, who declared more than 2 thousand vacancies. About 350 Brest residents got acquainted with job offers. 220 people received offers for employment at the enterprises.
“The intersectoral fair once again showed that enterprises are ready to hire people without qualifications, train them and provide opportunities for professional growth,” the Committee on Labor, Employment and Social Protection drew attention.
According to operational data, there are 15.6 thousand vacancies at enterprises and organizations of the Brest region. In January-July, more than 15.1 thousand residents of the region applied for assistance in finding employment, of which almost 4.8 thousand were registered as unemployed. Employment service specialists helped over 12.4 thousand applicants find work, including more than 3.6 thousand unemployed.
