Military coup in Niger: ECOWAS calls new meeting to discuss diplomatic exit

The leaders of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) announced this Monday (7) a new meeting on Thursday (10) to discuss the situation in Niger. The meeting takes place two weeks after a coup d’état in the African country and the end of the ultimatum on Sunday (6) to demand a return to constitutional order, under penalty of the use of “force”.
