After a long period of disorganization and without any game structure, it was great to see Inter in the stadium, playing like a team that knows what to do with the ball, although it still needs to know how to score goals.

The difference is stark, players positioned, organized ball output, visible lines all the time. It’s a Coudet team, two defenders with the steering wheel in the middle to get the ball out, more advanced wingers, three players in the middle and two forwards with movement, exchange of passes and restart of play in the opponent’s strongest marking. At another time, long pass from defenders. It’s your signature, there’s no use expecting anything else.

Highest scoring when attacking, the whole team advances, to the point of playing with 10 from the opposing field.

In 10 minutes, we had already finished twice in Cássio’s goal, one of them exploding on the crossbar. Maurício shoots, that’s why it’s important.

Of course, Maurício’s mobility and PH’s speed helped in relation to Tuesday’s team, but Gabriel and Bruno Henrique were also very important for the scheme.

Inter dominated the game, controlled Corinthians and took a goal from a ball deflected by the defender.

Then, the tie, and new dominance, until they cornered Corinthians and took the counterattack goal in a very wrong pass by Nico. The tie came at the end, with a beautiful cross by Enner and a classic header by Luiz Adriano.

With all due respect to John, Rochet is a great goalkeeper and has given back to the defense tranquility in the air, something we haven’t had since Alisson.

Igor Gomes, whom I turned my nose up at as a full-back, has been playing his role very well, especially in attack, being an option for passes and plays on the right, including individual ones.

Vitão is not the same as last year, he seems insecure, a little late in marking. Nico was rushed on the pass, but very well during the game. The desire to win made him go beyond the limit, but it was clear that he is also a good option for the end of the game.

It wasn’t a game to test De Pena on the wing, Corinthians didn’t attack on the right side, but they did well defensively and did well in attack. De Pena also shoots.

Gabriel came back in style, and, in my humble opinion, is a starter for this team, forcing Johnny to the right wing. Gabriel lends speed to the team at the end of the game, he presents himself more than Johnny and scores better and with more speed. I think he would get ahead of Yuri in their second goal.

Matheus Dias is a good player, good pass, safe, he made an excellent launch for the equalizing goal, but seems to be in rotation below the rest of the team, lacking a little more intensity and vibrancy.

Bruno Henrique made his gala debut, with a goal and distributing the game in the middle, appearing in front, scoring well. Player who, I believe, will be a starter soon.

Maurício has always been a movement player, playing through the middle. He seemed very committed to the game, looking for a place in the starting lineup, he has quality, he shoots, passes, dribbles, builds plays. Coudet needs to find a place for himself in the team.

PH has speed as its greatest weapon; and I believe that no defender beats him with the ball projected in front, but the team used this move very little. He was essential in the equalizer, but I expected a little more.

As for Luiz Adriano, I expect almost nothing, and that’s what he delivered in the game. The equalizing goal at the end erased a mediocre performance, without participation, involvement, and even movement. Unfortunately, he seems to have risen to one of the team’s leaders, which doesn’t look good.

Coudet changed the team’s mentality in just a few days. From a dull team, resigned to the result, Inter became a team that bites in the marking, with tactical discipline and seeks to play all the time, maybe even too much, like against Cuiabá. Johnny didn’t foul outside the area, he would be expelled, because playing with one less player makes it difficult to win the game, and a draw was not enough. In other times, conceding a goal at 35 minutes in the second half would lead to conformism and blame on the part of the referee.

By the way, very malicious, as always, the referee of the match, reversing fouls, breaking the rhythm of the game. I didn’t think he missed the penalty, but he broke the game with downed players, with non-existent fouls, as a cunning referee. Thankfully, the VAR showed the move on the screen and provoked a reaction from the crowd, otherwise it would have confirmed a clearly non-existent impediment.

Coudet has 15 days and no wins, but it’s another team playing football, with the same players. The team, even the players returning from injury, ran all the time, destroying the bad physical preparation, which was not and never was the team’s problem.

The confusion at the end of the game has no innocents. Being charged by Luiz Adriano is almost an insult, and nobody knows what Magrão said so that Enner stopped walking and returned to the push.

Anyway, I prefer a team that fights than a bunch of resigned people finding the excuse for bad results in others, it seems that Coudet, at the very least, brought a little blood to the Inter team.

Nobody is satisfied with the results, but the difference from the team 30 days ago is very big, there is organization, movement, and more will. Unfortunately, the change came too late and the team could have been more oiled. There are no game mechanics yet, players need to position themselves to start the moves, but that only comes with time.
