Everything is ready for the ceremony of the prestigious ‘Fabrizio De Andrè’ prize in the poetry section, which will be held in Rome next September at the Music Auditorium. There are 12 finalists that a jury of excellence has identified for the XXII edition of this initiative born in 2002 and chaired by Dori Ghezzi, to give prominence to new artists who stand out for the originality of their compositions, even poetic, which has now become one of the most awaited appointments.
The section dedicated to poetry is curated by the poet Vincenzo Costantino Cinaski. The prize, awarded annually and organized by Icompany, Sony, Siae and the Fabrizio De Andrè Foundation, is one of the most prestigious awards for poetry authors in Italy and is a particularly coveted ‘competition’ for attention to creativity and originality of the works that enter the competition.
Among the finalists, for the second time, also Matteo Farge, an artist from Abruzzo, who with his hermetic existentialism crosses the finish line again with the poem, “I’m sorry more” together with Dora Addeo, “fragments of happiness”; Matilde Maria Campisi, “the hunger of bodies”, Silvia Ciurli, “on everyone’s lips”; Marinella Cossu, “women’s foreheads”; Roberta De Falco, “a secret”, Giulia Guarnaccia, “a decalogue”, Pietro Nicolaucich, “Mediterranean”; Alessia Peduto, “April 13, 2015”; Giacomo Pozzi, “coins 4-11-2019”; Marco Soneghet, “May I?”; Barbara Soulart, “If All You See”.
