(Mount Dov, Tuesday) – Defense Minister Yoav Galant conducted a tour of Mount Dov near the Lebanese border today, during which he issued a strong warning to Hezbollah following recent border provocations. Minister Galant emphasized Israel’s commitment to protect its citizens and stated that all necessary measures would be taken to ensure the safety and security of the nation.
The visit included an evaluation of the current situation along the border, with Galant being briefed on the latest developments in the sector. “I arrived this morning at the northern border, in order to closely follow the events that have been happening here recently,” said Gallant during his visit. “We will know how to protect the citizens of Israel and the State of Israel in any way. The enemy needs to understand that when it comes to Israel’s security – we are all united.”
Directly addressing Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, Galant issued a clear warning: “I warn Hezbollah, Nasrallah – not to make a mistake. You made mistakes in the past, you paid very heavy prices. If, God forbid, an escalation or conflict develops here, we will return Lebanon to the Stone Age. We will not hesitate to use all our strength, and to wear out every meter of Hezbollah and Lebanon if we have to.”
Galant further emphasized that while Israel seeks to avoid war, it remains fully prepared to protect its citizens, soldiers, and sovereignty if necessary. “Make no mistakes,” he added, “we don’t want war, but we are ready to protect our citizens, our soldiers, and our sovereignty.”
Israel has witnessed a series of provocations at the border in recent weeks, heightening tensions in the region. With the Defense Minister’s warning, it is clear that Israel will not tolerate any threats to its security and is fully committed to maintaining peace while safeguarding its borders.
