The vehicle is considered abandoned, it is necessary that there are no conditions for locomotion by its own means. In addition, other characteristics such as deterioration and state of conservation are also taken into account.

Removal is carried out, as the abandoned vehicle can pose health risks, due to the accumulation of water and garbage; to public safety, when used as a hiding place for thieves, and to the environment. In cases of accidents, it will be removed when there is no responsible person on site.

The owner of the car will be able to recover it after payment of fines, fees and expenses with removal and stay. There may be other charges provided for by law.

Case – According to the incident report, around 2:30 am on the 4th, the GCM (Military Civil Guard) was making rounds in the region, when they came across the burning vehicle. The team was approached by a witness reporting that he had seen and identified the person responsible for setting fire to the vehicle. Afterwards, the suspect was located, tried to resist arrest, bit the finger of one of the agents, but was restrained and arrested.

Asked about the fact, the transvestite confessed saying that she had used alcohol and matches to set fire to the Kombi. She said the motive was revenge, as the owner of the vehicle had set her tent on fire three days earlier. In rounds around the region, municipal guards found the gallon and the matchbox that the suspect used to set fire to the vehicle.
