Industrial production grew in six of the 15 locations surveyed in June compared to May, according to data from the Monthly Industrial Survey – Regional Physical Production, released by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) this Tuesday, 8.

In the opposite direction, there were advances in Rio Grande do Norte (16.5%), Espírito Santo (11.8%), Rio de Janeiro (11.7%), Mato Grosso (10.5%), Pará (6. 7%), Amazonas (6.6%), Goiás (4.7%), Minas Gerais (4.4%) and Pernambuco (3.9%).

In the global average, the national industry advanced 0.3% in June 2023 compared to June 2022.
