The channel will resuscitate the cult series from August 28 with 18 new couples to embody “Chouchou” and “Loulou”.

“One guy, one girl” ended twenty years ago. On the occasion of “two evening events”, the TF1 channel will “pay tribute” to the cult series embodied by Alexandra Lamy and Jean Dujardin, as explained The Parisian.

The broadcast is scheduled for August 28. On the program: 18 new “couples of actors, singers, animators” who will replay cult scenes from the series in 438 episodes of around six minutes. In the cast of these two special evenings, we find several celebrities.

Comedians Bérengère Krief and Baptiste Lecaplain will form a first couple, as will Natoo and Kyan Khojandi. On the actor side, several duos will be embodied by Virginie Ledoyen and Arié Elmaleh, as well as Chantal Ladesou and Antoine Duléry.

Stéphane Bern, Joey Starr, Denis Brogniart…

More unusual, model Adriana Karembeu will be associated with presenter Denis Brogniart while actress Barbara Schulz will be alongside rapper JoeyStarr and singer Shy’m with comedian Florent Peyre.

Added to the list are three couples both in town and on stage: presenter Stéphane Bern with entrepreneur Yori Bailleres, comedian Inès Reg with screenwriter Kévin Debonne and finally journalist Faustine Bollaert with novelist Maxime Chattam.

The series “A guy, a girl” had been broadcast for four years on France 2 from October 1999 to 2003. In June 2022, the production had entrusted work on a rewrite to offer “new generation” couples. The director of the TF1 group’s antennas Xavier Gandon explained that he found it very “tasty” to see “the best sketches reinterpreted by talents from the old and new generations”.

Among the television series of the last thirty years, “Un garz, une fille” is the third favorite of the French according to an Ipsos poll carried out in 2020.
