While a sincere and inclusive political dialogue is struggling to be established between the Forces vives de Guinée and the authorities of the transition, the government’s spokesperson minister, Oussou Gaoual Diallo, does not miss any opportunity to insinuate that weighty political leaders, the Small Cell Dalein Diallo and the Sid of the UFR exchange daily with the leader of the junta, Colonel Mamadi Doum-bouillant. He reaffirmed it on Friday August 4, on Twitter: “Despite the tense political climate, the importance of open and constant dialogue with the leaders of political parties is indisputable. This persistence in communication, even in the face of challenges, is the essence of our democracy. It is encouraging to see that despite our differences and the challenges we face, the exchanges continue. I am convinced that this ongoing dialogue will be the catalyst for substantial progress, paving the way for a peaceful and effective transition.».

The ”untimely” outputs of the megaphone exasperate the highest circles of the UFDG. The party’s Cellule de Com insisted on denying what it called “a falsehood to affirm that President Cellou Dalein Diallo exchanges regularly with Colonel Mamadi Doumbouya“. But the UFDG says it is not surprised by such actions, when it is Ousmane Gaoual who is behind: “When an unsubstantiated claim comes from Ousmane Gaoual Diallo, it doesn’t surprise anyone because he is used to the facts».

The Union of Republican Forces (UFR) agrees. Fodé Baldé, head of the party’s digital communication, wonders what is behind this communication from Ousmane Gaoual Diallo: “There is no contact as the government spokesman insinuates. This is not the first time he has made such statements, he is used to facts. But Guineans know how to distinguish the true from the false. They have known about Ousmane Gaoual’s behavior for some time, these statements are his only responsibility.
