JAKARTA – Jakarta Transportation Company diverted a number of bus routes due to the closure of Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat and MH Thamrin, Central Jakarta due to the mass demonstration of workers on Thursday (10/8/2023). This route adjustment was made in order to maintain mobility for the activities of the people who are active using the affected routes.
“Information on route adjustments is conveyed widely, massively, and periodically to customers to be able to arrange trips with Transjakarta,” said Head of Public Relations and CSR Department of PT Transjakarta Wibowo in his statement, Thursday (10/8/2023).
The following routes have been diverted following the labor demonstration in Jakarta:
1. Blok M – City (corridor 1) Blok M direction:
City stop – Harmoni – red light Harmoni turn back to Kemensetneg – Petojo stop go off the line – red light Tarakan turn left – Jalan Cideng Timur – Jalan Jati Baru – Hotel Tugu Asri – hotel Tugu Asri red light – hotel Millenium Straight – Jalan Kebon Sirih – Bank Indonesia red light turn right – Bank Indonesia stop – Blok M.
Stops that do not serve customers:
– Monas stop
2. Blok M – City (corridor 1) City direction:
Blok M bus stop – Sarinah – Sarinah red light goes off the track – Bank Indonesia red light, turn left – Kebon Sirih Street – Millennium Hotel, turn left – Fachrudin Street – Jati Baru go straight – Jln Cideng Barat – Tarakan red light, turn right – Petojo bus stop – red light Harmony turn left – Harmony – City.
Stops that do not serve customers:
– Monas stop
– Bank Indonesia bus stop.
3. Monday – Blok M (1P)
Experiencing route diversion for the direction of Senen with the route becoming a horse statue – turn right – go straight to the IRTI bus stop – Gambir 2 bus stop – normally until Monday. While the opposite direction operates normally.
