Discovery of another genetically modified corona virus following the Omicron in France

by time news

Scientists say a new genetically modified corona virus has been discovered in France.

This new virus contains 46 genetic mutations. Therefore, it is considered to be resistant to vaccines and may be highly contagious.

Up to 12 people have been infected with the new virus in Marseille, France. The first of them was a man who had returned to the African country of Cameroon.

Scientists at IHU Mediterranee Infection have discovered this new genetically modified corona virus. The virus did not appear to have spread rapidly since it was discovered on December 10.

Furthermore, the virus has not yet been detected in any other country, and the World Health Organization has not yet reported that it has been tested.

Professor Philippe Colson, chairman of the IHU Mediterranee Infection team’s team of scientists, said the new corona virus had been discovered in the Marseille area and that they had named it the IHU genetically modified corona virus.
