Samsung introduced the Galaxy S21 FE, and it is also available for sale in Israel

by time news

In June 2021, just a few months ago, it looked like Samsung was about to give up the fan version of the Galaxy S21. But since then a lot of water has passed in the Yarkon, and in the end, and even if very late, the S21 FE was introduced as part of Samsung’s announcements at CES 2022 – just about a month before the expected announcement of the next generation, the S22.

The announcement itself came as no surprise after most of the details of the phone, as always in the case of Samsung, have been revealed in recent months quite accurately. It is based on the processor of the base device, Exynos 2100, and comes with 8/128 GB of memory. The Dynamic AMOLED screen is 6.4 inches – and larger than the S21 – with FHD + resolution and it offers a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240 GHz that the phone switches to game mode to help gamers get faster responses.

At the back there are three cameras as in the Galaxy S21 with the first one equipped with a 12-megapixel sensor, and next to it a super-wide camera with a sensor of the same size that offers a photo field with a width of 123 degrees. The third camera, with an 8-megapixel sensor, is a telephoto camera that offers a hybrid zoom up to x30 in size. The selfie camera is 32 megapixel in size.

With 5G support and a 4,500 mAh battery, the Galaxy S21 FE is expected to last an entire day. The wired charge has a maximum power of 25 watts, and the device also complies with the Qi standard for wireless charging with a maximum power of 15 watts.

The S21 FE comes in olive green, purple, white and graphite gray and will be available for official sale starting January 11th. According to Samsung Israel here in Israel already today at a price of NIS 2,499.
