Leangel Linarez won stage 2 of the Volta a Portugal, 177.3 kilometers between Abrantes and Vila Franca de Xira in which he was once again the fastest in the final sprint. The one from Tavfer is also the new leader of the general classification.

The Brazilian Sessler was the other outstanding Latin American of the day, 14th in the arrival, while the Uruguayan Moreira marches 6th in the main table. Miguel Ángel Fernández and Daniel Babor completed the podium of the day.
Tomorrow stage 3 will be held, 191.8 kilometers between Sines and Loulé.
