In order to prevent flooding due to the rains that hit Salvadoran territory, the Ministry of Public Works carried out mitigation work in the Mizata river, in the La Canoa canton sector.
“These actions are part of the National Mitigation Plan, through which works are carried out in different vulnerable parts of the country during the winter season,” said the Press Secretary.
In addition, the works that are carried out in the place consist of the dredging of the river and the construction of huts.
