São Paulo ends its participation in the first round of the Brazilian Championship this Sunday (13), at 18:30, in Maracanã, against Flamengo.

With 26 points, Tricolor starts the round in ninth place and looking for its first victory as a visitor in the competition.

After training in the morning, at CT da Barra Funda, the team traveled in the afternoon and landed in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday night (12). The novelty in the delegation is the presence of Colombian midfielder James Rodríguez, listed for the first time.

Coach Dorival Júnior started the day by showing a video to the athletes in the auditorium. Afterwards, the players went to the lawn to carry out the warm-up led by the physical trainers. In the second half, the squad was divided into two groups: while one did tactical positional and dead-ball work with coach and assistant Lucas Silvestre, the other carried out technical training, dealing with small-field confrontations, led by assistant Pedro Sotero .
