Multi-platinum pop star Taylor Swift made a surprise announcement from the stage of her ‘Eras Tour’ date in Los Angeles with the release of ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’, out Friday, October 27th. From today, the pre-order of the CD, cassette, vinyl and CD deluxe formats is already available in the crystal skies blue, rose garden pink, aquamarine green and sunrise boulevard yellow variants.

This album – says the artist – has changed my life in countless ways and it fills me with joy to announce that my version of ‘1989’ will be released on October 27th. To be completely honest this is my favorite re-recording I’ve ever done because From The Vault’s 5 tracks are mind blowing. I can’t believe they were left behind. But not for long!”
The album, originally released in 2014, certified platinum in Italy with singles such as ‘Shake it off’, ‘Blank Space’, both platinum, and ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’, certified platinum ‘gold, already saw ‘This Love (Taylor’s Version)’ released in May 2022 as the soundtrack of ‘The Summer I Turned Pretty’ and ‘Wildest Dream (Taylors’ Version)’, after the track went viral on TikTok. ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’ is the fourth re-recording of the first part of the artist’s discography, after ‘Fearless’, ‘Red’ and ‘Speak Now’, released on July 7th.
Currently on tour with her ‘Eras Tour’, close to a billion and a half dollars in cash (which will allow her to break the record held by Elton John), Taylor never ceases to amaze her fans, with a live show lasting 3 hours, a 44-track setlist featuring all of his albums including the ‘Taylor’s Version’ recordings. The tour is generating sold out after sold out with the audience in a frenzy, so much so that during the Seattle shows the live recorded vibrations similar to those of a 2.3 magnitude earthquake. In addition, Taylor has decided to give a bonus for all the staff working on the tour, for a total of 50 million dollars.
The tour will arrive in Italy on 2 dates scheduled for 13 and 14 July 2024 at the San Siro stadium in Milan and sold out on the same day the tickets went on sale. Taylor achieved a landmark record entering the Billboard 200 chart with ten of her albums in the top 100, ranking as the most streamed albums this week in the United States. At this year’s MTV Video Music Awards, she garnered the most nominations with 8 nominations, including ‘Video of the Year’, where she holds the record for winning three consecutive years.
Taylor Swift also collected several awards between the end of last year and the beginning of the year including: four Grammy Awards, five MTV Video Music Awards and six American Music Awards.
