SAINT ANTONIO – A couple’s act of kindness took a dark turn when a stranger they gave a ride to from a bar ended up stabbing the man. The incident occurred at around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday in the 3500 block of New Braunfels Avenue, according to the San Antonio police.

According to a witness, she and her boyfriend left a downtown bar and decided to offer a ride to an unknown woman who was in need. They dropped her off at Walters and Rigsby but the situation took a disturbing twist when the woman approached the vehicle again. An argument ensued, leading to a violent confrontation.

During the argument, the woman attacked the 27-year-old man, cutting his arm, before fleeing on foot. The couple immediately drove to New Braunfels Avenue to seek help and notified the police. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to the call and transported the injured man to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Fortunately, no other injuries were reported in this incident. The police are currently investigating the case and attempting to identify and locate the suspect.
