Police Raid Crime Gang’s Hideout in Northern District

In a significant breakthrough in the murder investigation of Ayham Abu Saleh, the police, in collaboration with MGB soldiers, IDF policemen, and the Land Enforcement Authority, conducted a raid on the premises belonging to the crime gang led by Bilal Suad. The operation took place just a few hours before the scheduled hearing on the extension of Suad’s detention.

The joint forces meticulously demolished 450 meters of fence, disabled surveillance cameras, and thoroughly searched the area. The perimeter fence, which was constructed in violation of the law, was completely destroyed during the operation. Dozens of cameras that monitored public spaces around the compound were also removed.

This operation marks another instance of the Israel Police and the Land Enforcement Authority working together to crack down on criminal activity in the northern district. By targeting perpetrators of crime, they aim to prevent any further acts of violence or illegal activities.

Five residents of Shafaram, including Bilal Suad, were previously apprehended in connection with the murder of Ayham Abu Saleh last week. The suspects had been hiding in a secret apartment in Acre until their arrest. Their detention has been extended pending the ongoing investigation.

According to police reports, Ayham Abu Saleh was fatally shot at close range outside his home. The incident occurred as a medical team from the “Khyan” ambulance arrived to provide treatment. Tragically, they were forced to declare him dead at the scene. Additionally, two individuals from the city were arrested on charges of rioting and assaulting security guards at Haifa’s Rambam Medical Center.

The police are confident that the raid on Bilal Suad’s crime gang hideout will yield vital evidence related to Ayham Abu Saleh’s murder. With each successful operation, law enforcement agencies are sending a clear message that criminal activities will not be tolerated, and they will take swift and decisive action to maintain the safety and security of the community.
