DECRYPTION – The small Spanish low-cost company is now the first in the French market in terms of number of domestic lines.
A remarkable breakthrough in the French sky. Founded just ten years ago, the Spanish Volotea became this year the leading airline in the French domestic market in terms of routes, ahead of the mastodons Air France-KLM and EasyJet. The low-cost carrier now operates 61 domestic routes there, compared to 58 for the French company and only 46 for its British competitor.
