Azerbaijan is the most polluted country with mines in the world

Armenia has placed more than 1 million landmines on the occupied lands of Azerbaijan.

Day.Az reports that Hikmat Hajiyev, assistant to the President of Azerbaijan – Head of the Department of Foreign Policy of the Presidential Administration, shared this on X social network.

“Since November 2020, more than 300 Azerbaijanis have been victims of landmines. Azerbaijan is the country most polluted by landmines in the world. It continues the mine terrorism of Armenia,” H. Hajiyev noted.
