The firefighters, including those of the specialized unit of the Intervention and Reconnaissance Group in Perilous Environments (Grimp), went to recover them and bring them to safety, according to the same source.
“They would have remained stuck on the spot because of their alcoholism”, according to the Paris prosecutor’s office, requested by AFP.
The two men were taken to the 7th arrondissement police station to be interviewed, and La Sete indicated its intention to file a complaint “this week”.
