The Civil Guard of Seville is investigating the discovery of the bodies of a woman and a man in an advanced state of decomposition in a house in the town of Osuna (17,442 inhabitants). The couple had been residing in the municipality for a short time, according to sources from the Civil Guard. The neighbors maintain that he was from Barcelona and she was from the Ukraine; and that they would be between 40 and 50 years old, as Diario de Sevilla has advanced and this newspaper has been able to confirm.

The Osuna firefighters, alerted by the neighbors, have arrived at Mancilla street around 2:15 p.m. this Tuesday with the aim of opening the door of the house, which is located in the urban area of the Sevillian town. The neighbors have realized that the bucket that collected the water from the air conditioning was overflowing and that it had been like this for several days. It had also been a few days since they had been seen on the street, although his van and her car—with the steering wheel on the driver’s left side—were still parked in front of the house.

When the firefighters have managed to enter, they have found the two corpses in an advanced state of decomposition. The house remains sealed while the Civil Guard continues its investigations pending the autopsy that can clarify many of the questions, given that the state of the bodies also makes it impossible to determine with certainty whether the corpses show signs of violence.

Civil Guard sources have reported that the discovery occurred inside the house, and in the absence of further information, it is known that the two people had been dead for several days. The police device has proceeded to close the street to deploy the investigation and allow the work of the judicial commission.

The two bodies will be transferred, once the Osuna judge authorizes it, to the Institute of Legal Medicine of Seville so that the corresponding autopsies are performed. At the moment, the researchers do not rule out any hypotheses.
