The Tour of Spain is approaching, and one of its top contenders is Primoz Roglic, three-time champion of the event and recent winner of the Giro d’Italia.
According to Marc Reef, sports director of Jumbo Visma, the Slovenian will arrive in excellent physical condition. “It is key to arrive fine because the first days are not flat and already in stage 3 there is a high arrival”, he indicated.
“Since 2019 I had not had such a solid preparation for the Vuelta,” he continued. “He was able to rest and then did some training at altitude in which everything went according to plan,” he added.
“He is in great shape and will go to the Vuelta a Burgos to look for stages and a good general. Day four fits Primoz and the last day will be a great indicator of how he is doing for the Vuelta”, Reef closed.
