Co-owner and CFO, Yvonne Ho, confirmed the pause in video production, stating that the team will focus on implementing long-term workflow improvements. She mentioned that Linus Media Group is no longer “fighting for survival,” indicating a shift from their usual daily video release schedule for the first time in 12 years.
Ho acknowledged that Linus made a clear error in judgment regarding the Billet Labs controversy, admitting that he allowed personal feelings to cloud his judgment. However, the exact nature of the judgment error was not explained in the video.
The video also featured several senior staff members planning the company’s future changes. Gary Key, head of labs, admitted to the company’s previous mistakes and committed to publishing testing documents that will undergo peer review with the community.
