Readjustment of fuel prices was the right decision, says Campos Neto By Reuters

BRASILIA (Reuters) – The readjustment of fuel prices by Petrobras (BVMF:) was a wise decision, said this Wednesday the president of the Central Bank, Roberto Campos Neto, arguing that “it is not good to have a great distance in price” in relation to the international market.

In an event promoted by the Brazilian Association of Bars and Restaurants (Abrasel), Campos Neto reaffirmed that the increase in prices of these inputs will impact inflation in the country in 2023.
