Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment, Democrat Party (DP) Chairman Fikri Ataoğlu has issued a condolence message for the death of experienced journalist and writer Süleyman Ergüçlü.
Ataoğlu made the following statements in his message:
“I am deeply saddened by the loss of Süleyman Ergüçlü, one of our country’s experienced and valuable journalists and writers, former Editor-in-Chief of Cyprus Newspaper, former chief of BRTK television news department, former chairman of the Cyprus Turkish Journalists’ Union.
His contributions to the media industry will never be forgotten. I wish God’s mercy on the late Ergüçlü, one of the important names of the Turkish Cypriot media, and my condolences to the Turkish Cypriot media with his grieving family, fans, friends and colleagues.
