Dubai: A 48-hour PCR test report is mandatory for passengers arriving in Dubai from 12 countries, including India. Dubai-based Emirates Airlines said in a statement on its website.

Apart from India, passengers from Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Lebanon, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Sudan, the UK, Vietnam and Zambia are required to submit their test results within 48 hours. Those coming from these countries must undergo another PCR check within six hours of departure at the airport of departure.

PCR testing is mandatory for travelers from more than 50 countries, including India, upon arrival in Dubai.

Dubai Health Authority officials will check the test results at the Dubai airport. The test result must have a QR code that can verify their authenticity. This is also mandatory for travelers passing through Dubai airports.

Emirates Airlines has suspended flights from eight cities

Emirates Airlines has announced that it will suspend passenger services from eight cities to Dubai until further notice. The new decision will take effect on December 28, 2021.

The company said in a statement on its website that it had imposed restrictions on entry and traffic to Dubai from eight cities in Africa. Services from Conakry to Dakar are also restricted.
