As part of the “Great Return”, to date, 108 families (526 people) have been resettled in the village of Agali in the Zangilan region, 20 families (90 people) in the village of Talysh in the Terter region, 221 families (858 people) in the city of Lachin.
This was reported on Wednesday in response to a request from Day.Az at the State Committee of Azerbaijan for Refugees and IDPs.
It was noted that these are families who temporarily lived in various territories, mainly in Baku, Sumgayit and Absheron, in unfinished buildings, as well as hostels, sanatoriums, pioneer camps and other administrative buildings.
“There is currently no information about the future fate of apartments located in settlements and transferred for temporary use to former forced migrants in order to improve their living conditions,” the state committee said.
