HIGHER DEPRESSION RISKS IN MEDIUM- THAN IN HIGH-DENSITY URBAN FORM ACROSS DENMARK
[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]This study, published in the journal Science Advances and carried out in Denmark, shows the increased risk of depression when living in residential neighborhoods, the importance of the distribution of cities, as well as the benefits of relationships and social interactions present in neighborhoods with greater population density with services such as parks, equipment for children’s play, spaces that make it possible to meet, such as shops or benches to sit on. The study also confirms the lowest risk in rural areas and places with larger spaces of nature, less stress and noise, and greater cohesion and closeness of neighbors.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Authorship: Tzu-Hsin Karen Chen; et al.
