The triathlete did the whole race at the forefront, coming out in third position in the swimming part, riding in the leading group on the bike to finally lead the race on foot. Leader in the general classification of the World Cup, the Briton managed to get rid of in the very last meters of Cassandre Beaugrand, who collapsed once the finish line was crossed.
“I’m really happy with my race. I would have liked to win, I did everything for it but unfortunately the home stretch was complicated for me today, she confided, medal around her neck.
