Other restrictions
1) Play Schools and Nursery Schools (LKG, UKG) are not permitted to operate except for Creche.
2) In all schools, it is forbidden to conduct direct classes from class 1 to class 9.
3) Direct classes will be held for 10th, 11th and 12th class students for the purpose of educating the students going for the general examination and for future benefit and vaccination.
4) Students studying in all colleges and vocational training institutes except government, private medical and allied medical colleges are given leave till January 20 in order to appear for the examination.
5) Training and Coaching Centers are prohibited from operating.
6) Holding exhibitions and book fairs is currently postponed.
7) In seats on public buses and suburban trains, only 50% of passengers will be allowed to sit and travel.
8) Passengers will be allowed to sit in only 50% of the seats on the Metro train.
9) Postponement of Pongal and Art Festivals by all Government and Private.
10) All amusement / amusement parks (Entertainment Parks / Amusement Parks) are prohibited from operating.
11) Only public walking will be allowed on all beaches.
12) Not all places of worship are open to the public on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
13) The current ban on public gatherings such as community, cultural and political gatherings will continue.
14) District Collectors and local bodies concerned should take steps to set up fish and vegetable markets at more than one place to avoid public gatherings at fish and vegetable markets, especially on weekends.
15) The Department of Transport and the concerned local bodies are advised to divide the existing buses from the existing integrated bus stands zone-wise and take appropriate action to run the buses from different places.
16) Employees and owners working in public places such as shops, businesses, private companies, shopping malls, theaters, all service sectors must all be vaccinated in two installments.
17) Employees of Government and Local Bodies must be vaccinated by 9.1.2022 and submit the relevant certificate to the relevant office.
18) Those who work in factories during the curfew should keep their office ID card and certificate of vaccination with them when they go to work at night.
