The National Social Security Administration (Ansés) offers loans for retirement and pension holders of the SIPA (Argentine Integrated Pension System) that can be a minimum of $5,000 and up to a maximum of $400,000.

The credits can be paid in up to 4 years (48 installments) with a fixed rate of 29% and with a deposit within 5 days of requesting the loan.

Each beneficiary has their own credit limit that depends on how much they earn per month.

Who can access the credits

Retirees and pensioners

Holders of the Argentine Integrated Pension System (Sipa) and holders of the Honorary Pension for Veterans and War Veterans can request it. The amounts range from $5,000 to $400,000 in 24, 36, or 48 installments that may not exceed 30% of the monthly income. The credit is deposited into the bank account within 5 business days.

PNC and Puam

Holders of a Non-Contributory Pension for Old Age, Disability or Mother of 7 children may request it; the Universal Pension for the Elderly; and the Reparation Regime for former Political Prisoners. The amount ranges from $5,000 to $150,000 in 24, 36 or 48 installments that may not exceed 20% of the monthly income. The credit is deposited into the bank account within 5 business days.

Requirements to take out the loans

Retirees must meet only two requirements to access the benefit:

Be up to 92 years old at the time of finalizing the credit. Reside in the country. In addition, at the time of requesting the credit, the DNI and CBU of the bank account must be presented.
