The Senior Officer of the Veracruz Secretary of Education (SEV), Ariadna Selene Aguilar Amaya must publicly display the copy of the Contracted Policy that benefits retired retired teachers, because since November 2021, the Veracruz government has refused to renew , indicated the members of the Association of Retirees and Pensioners of the ISSSTE in the State of Veracruz (Ajupiv).
The retirees closed Enríquez street in front of the government palace to demand that Governor Cuitláhuac García Jiménez hire a company that provides Institutional Insurance to benefit the families of deceased teachers with economic resources.
They stressed that this demonstration in Lerdo Square is also to demand the payment of 2 million 800 thousand pesos for institutional insurance owed since 2012 in the administration of former Governor Javier Duarte de Ochoa.
At present, there are three families of retired teachers who died this year who are demanding payment of the Institutional Insurance.
“We do not have an insurance company for retirees; The Senior Officer said that we had no right, and on Monday the statements that came out is that she was in Mexico to hire an Insurer, we do not believe her, that is another story they tell us, we demand that she show us the copy of the contract with the Insurer.”
