The world of entertainment is again painted in mourning with the death of the Mexican actor David Ostrosky, who passed away on August 17 at the age of 66.

The news of his death was confirmed by the National Association of Interpreters of Mexico, where without giving details about the cause of his death, they recalled his impeccable career in film, theater and television.
“He is remembered for his performances in major soap operas such as ‘El vuelo del águila’ and ‘La antorcha ignited’, his last work was ‘Vencer la ausencia’. We send our deepest condolences to his family and friends on behalf of the ANDI Board of Directors and Surveillance Committee ”, they wrote.
What was David Ostrosky sick with?
In 2022, David Ostrosky made the decision to leave the soap opera ‘Vencer la Ausencia’ in its final stretch with the aim of taking care of his health, since weeks before an injury to his humerus had been detected.
“I have a tumor on my arm,” he told Televisa Espectáculos in November 2022, also detailing that he was in the last chemotherapy sessions and that he was about to start his immunotherapy treatment.
