The collapse of a gold mine in the Amina Djallonka district in Maléah, Siguiri prefecture caused the death of four people this Wednesday, August 16, 2023. Three injured people who were taken out of the rubble were admitted to the prefectural hospital, we learn.

According to our information, the search continues to try to find possible survivors.

In the meantime, the bodies of the victims have been handed over to the families for burial.
