Musician Who Co-Wrote Katy Perry Hit Song Vanishes from Beverly Hills: Neighbors Speak Out

by time news

Neighbours in Beverly Hills are speaking out about the mysterious disappearance of musician Camela Leierth-Segura, who co-wrote Katy Perry’s hit song “Walking on Air.” It has been almost two months since the 48-year-old Swedish native was last seen in the Beverly Hills area. Friends last heard from her on June 30th, and her car—a 2010 silver Ford Fusion—was seen that same night. Fears have been growing for her safety, with friends and family concerned that she may have been abducted and is being held against her will.

A missing person’s report was filed when her sister in Sweden hadn’t heard from her in weeks and reached out to friends in the US for help. Despite their efforts, no leads have been found on her whereabouts. Ms. Leierth-Segura’s longtime friend Cecilia Foss expressed her concerns, stating, “My worst fear is that someone has her and is hurting her.” Neighbours have also noticed her absence, with normally well-tended plants on her balcony now dead.

Camela Leierth-Segura is a white woman with blonde hair and blue eyes, standing around 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 125 pounds. She is described as a talented musician and model who moved from Sweden to California. In addition to co-writing Katy Perry’s hit song, she has also released her own music on YouTube and Spotify.

The missing musician’s friends and family have started a GoFundMe fundraiser to raise awareness and gather information about her disappearance. Her sister pleaded for help, emphasizing the urgency of the situation and the concern for her safety. “She means the world to us, and time is of the essence! Her family and loved ones in Sweden plead for your help!”

Anyone with information about Camela Leierth-Segura’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Beverly Hills Police Department at 310-285-2184.
