Three men, identified as Cristhian Saavedra Candela (32), Norbi Saavedra Candela (26) and Cristhian Flores Sánchez (31), were shot to death by a hitman when they were in a vehicle in the San Vicente district, in Cañete, at the south of Lima. The criminal gang ‘Los Gallegos’ would be behind the crime.

In the images disseminated by the “24 Hours” news program, the hitman can be seen reaching Libertadores Avenue, near the Panamericana Sur highway, shooting at the occupants of the vehicle and recording the triple crime with his cell phone. The video was later posted on social media.
The subject, who had a foreign accent, repeats the phrase at all times: “To make it clear: the underworld belongs to Los Gallegos.” In the images it can be seen that the hitman shoots and finishes off the men, who were lying on the ground.

He even chased one of the men who advanced a few meters in his attempt to escape and shot him several times. At the scene, the police found more than 20 bullet casings.
Latina indicated that the motive for the homicide would be the dispute over the control of the loan market known as ‘drop by drop’, since the Saavedra Candela brothers had started in the business of lending money to small merchants in Cañete.
