A man was kidnapped after arranging a meeting through a relationship app on Thursday night, 17, in Jaraguá, north of São Paulo. São Paulo. According to Department of Public Safety (SSP), the police officers were on patrol when they were informed about a car theft, in which the victim was taken hostage. According to the folder, the police located the vehicle on Sameul Bovy Street and gave the order to stop, but the suspects did not obey. During the escape, the suspects crashed the car into a tree. The three were arrested and told the military that the owner of the vehicle was being held in private prison in a community. Inside the vehicle, a firearm with three ammunition was seized.
The victim was found and reported to the police that he had been talking to a woman a few weeks ago and arranged to meet last Thursday night. According to the folder, the man said that he was surrendered at the gate of a house and taken to a shack, where he was threatened with death after handing over cards and bank passwords. The suspects were indicted for extortion, kidnapping and false imprisonment, and illegal possession of a firearm. The minors were sent to the Casa Foundation, while the man was held at the disposal of Justice, according to the SSP.
