More than 6,000 people took the river in Betanzos and packed the Campo da Festa on the first tour of the year

The boats left early in the afternoon from Paseo de la Tolerancia, upriver, in the direction of Campo dos Caneiros; Before, it was difficult to go up by water, since the tide was very low and it was not easy to navigate. Many people chose to walk. Others who did not have a boat used pedal boats or canoes, and there were many who, while enthusiastically greeting the passing boats, preferred to enjoy this festivity with their family having a drink on the banks of the estuary.
