Information about the incident was passed on to the police. After a couple of hours, employees of the department of the Security Department saw a car similar in appearance on one of the streets of the city and stopped the vehicle. Inside the salon were two young people: a 16-year-old Brest resident and a resident of Malorita. To establish the circumstances of the incident, the guys were taken to the police department.
As it turned out, at about 00.00 hours, friends were walking around the city. At some point, one of them offered to ride a car as a fun and the guys began to pull the door handles of parked vehicles. After some time, luck smiled at them: the Audi door swung open, and there were keys in the ignition.
The young people got into the car and drove in the direction of Brest, then returned to Malorita through Kobrin. According to the defendants, at the time of the arrest they were driving to the parking lot in order to return the car. The teens confessed to the crime. They explained their illegal act by the desire to ride.
It was established that the Brest resident who was driving does not have a driver’s license. Both young men repeatedly came to the attention of law enforcement officers, both for property crimes and hooliganism.
