The IEEPO invites society in general to participate in the activities that will take place in the Alameda de León
Oaxaca de Juárez, Oax., August 18, 2023.- With presentations, a literary calendar, reading circles, workshops and a cultural exhibition, this August 19 and 20, in the Alameda de León, the First State Meeting of Reading Mediators will be held, supported by the State Institute of Public Education of Oaxaca (IEEPO) and organized jointly with the Secretary of Culture and Arts of Oaxaca (Seculta), the Secretary of Education in the state and the Economic Culture Fund.
In a press conference, in which the program of activities was announced, with the representation of the general director, Emilio Montero Pérez, the deputy general director of Educational Services, Albino Pérez Vásquez, informed that the IEEPO will participate with reading circles in those that will intervene teachers and students of basic level, for which he invited society to integrate into these spaces.
He pointed out that reading should not be forced or forced, but in a natural way to encourage this habit in girls, boys and adolescents; For this reason, these types of activities are carried out permanently in basic level schools and as part of the strategies promoted by the administration of the State Governor, Salomón Jara Cruz.
The program of the First State Meeting of Reading Mediators will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with free access and includes reading aloud workshops, conferences, a literary basket, playful and recreational activities.
