cuscatlan. The current Deputy of Arena, for Cuscatlán, Alberto Armando Romero Rodríguez, must return to the State about $500,000 with which he was illegally enriched, according to the pertinent authorities.

Romero Rodríguez was sentenced by a court of justice in Cojutepeque to return $445,766.05 to the State. Along with him, his wife and his daughter were prosecuted, whom he would have used to deposit amounts of public money, whose income was not justified before the Probity Section of the Supreme Court of Justice. However, the women were not convicted.

According to the FGR, the deputy from Arena could not justify his increase in assets, which reflected 14 irregularities in bank deposits, cash payments for credit cards and cash payments for loans, indicates the information revealed in the Chamber of the Second Section of the Center, based in Cojutepeque.
