The post office Diogo Runge is Esgueira’s reinforcement for the next season. The club from Aveiro made official, this Wednesday, the signing of the Portuguese player, who had a spell at FC Porto and represented Illiabum last season.

Formed in Imortal, Runge headed to the dragons in 2018, but only in 2020 did he debut for the main team of the dragons. Before leaving the blue and whites last season, the post was still loaned to Ovarense and Maia Basket.

In 2022/23, Diogo Runge played 32 matches for Illiabum and averaged 9.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 0.8 assists. In the new season, the 21-year-old remains in Aveiro, but with different colors.
