Haitian gang members better organized than government forces

A year ago, gang members took over the Village de Dieux (People of God) neighborhood, a stone’s throw from Carrefour-Feuille, the neighborhood that was attacked this week north of the Haitian capital. So far the police forces have not given any response to what has happened in these two neighborhoods. Gang members take advantage of the fragility of the government to expand their territory.
