After learning about the case of 12 Jachallero students who were poisoned by a gas leak, this Friday morning a similar incident was recorded at a school in Pocito, although with a favorable balance.
According to reports, Volunteer Firefighters from the department of the South were alerted from the establishment 12 de Agosto, located on Calle 11 west of Vidart, about a gas leak.
Immediately the uniformed officers were present at the scene and deployed the operation. First, they closed the zeppelin’s gas outlet, checked heating and cooking appliances, and then turned on the gas service again, noting a slight loss.
The students were evacuated for a few minutes for prevention, but finally they all returned to class in excellent condition and without any of them having suffered any type of intoxication.
“We believe that the underground installation may have collapsed. In any case, the loss was slight but the smell of gas was felt,” explained those who carried out the operation.
