REPORT – After the Covid-19 crisis, the resumption of tourism in Tunisia is very good news for the country, which is having an excellent summer.

“Oh no, we’re not talking about that!”: For Morgan Dahmoun, the end of his stay, scheduled for this weekend, is a taboo. Like 5.4 million tourists – a figure comparable to the year 2019 which had been excellent -, this inhabitant of Blois chose Tunisia for his holidays. This delivery driver who wanted “visit the Maghreb” got convinced overnight with an argument: “good price”.

For 3,300 euros, flight included, the forties offered himself a fortnight’s stay with his son in formula “all-in” in a 4 star hotel. “You get what you pay for”he congratulates himself at the edge of the swimming pool of the Vincci Marillia hotel in Yasmine Hammamet, less than an hour from Tunis.

Ready to go on an excursion on a “pirate ship” (ride in the Mediterranean on the theme of pirates), Stéphanie Bourbon approves: “I am completely satisfied. For 1200 euros, I have a very decent room, with a 2m50 bed. The food is very good, the cleaning is done every day…
