This sovereign debt specialist and founding member of the Paris School of Economics died on Sunday.

Economist Daniel Cohen, specialist in sovereign debt, died at the age of 70, according to The world. The author of numerous books including Homo Economicus in 2012 and Homo Numericus, the coming “civilization” (Albin-Michel) in 2022, had been a figure of French economists since the end of the 1990s.

He won the economics book prize in 2000 and 2012, advisor to Banque Lazard, columnist with our colleagues atObs and for twelve years member of the Economic Analysis Council (2000 – 2012).
