Sharjah: A taxi driver returned Rs 20 lakh (Dh1 lakh) hidden in a vehicle to its original owner. Abraham, a Nigerian citizen, found the real owner and returned the money. Subsequently, Sharjah Taxi authorities honored the driver’s honesty.

The bag in the back seat of the vehicle caught Abraham’s attention after the passenger got out of the taxi. It was immediately found by the owner and returned. Khalid Al-Qindi, Executive Director, Sharjah Taxi, honored Abraham at the Taxi headquarters, recognizing his goodwill.
