Forty umbrellas with a similar number of sunbeds, without having been issued a permit for this purpose by the competent authority, had been developed by a 63-year-old owner of a health store in a beach area in the area of Plataria Thesprotia.
This was established this morning, in the context of controls carried out in the wider area by police officers of the Igoumenitsa Police Department, in collaboration with employees of the Thesprotia Land Service.
A case file was filed against the 63-year-old, who was arrested, for violating the legislation on the protection of public property and will be taken to the Criminal Prosecutor of Thesprotia.
