Masked Jews Attack MGB Soldier and Police Force at Beitin Junction

Today, a confrontation between masked Jews and security forces took place at the Beitin junction in Benjamin, resulting in a slightly injured MGB soldier. GLAJ journalist Doron Kadosh revealed this incident, shedding light on the alleged attack by the masked Jews, who reportedly used stones and pepper spray on the soldier.

According to Kadosh’s report, a group of Jews instigated a riot and targeted Palestinian vehicles at the Beitin intersection. As the situation escalated, a police force arrived at the scene to control the situation. However, the Jewish boys not only attacked the force but also clashed with them.

However, it later came to light that one of the boys arrested in connection with the attack was the grandson of Rabbi Tau, the president of the Har Hamor yeshiva. This revelation added a new dimension to the incident.

Following the arrival of the security forces, the masked men pelted them with stones, resulting in an injury to one of the soldiers. The injured soldier required medical treatment on the spot due to the impact.

In a surprising turn of events, the suspect arrested for attacking the MGB force was later released to house arrest by the Magistrate’s Court. The police had initially requested a stay of execution to appeal against the decision, but the court rejected the appeal and opted for releasing the detainee to house arrest. The suspect, a 20-year-old resident of Shevi Shomron, is the grandson of Rabbi Tao.

This incident has sparked concerns about rising tensions and violence among different religious and ethnic groups in the area. Authorities will now have the responsibility to ensure peace and harmony while investigating the motives behind the attack and taking appropriate actions.
